After being in business for 20 years,  we decided to enter our kitchen design into Second Nature Kitchens designer awards. These awards are for all of the UK & Ireland so there is always going to be tough competition. All kitchens are entered  & then the top designers from Second Nature chose their top 3 best kitchen designs, then the public vote for their favourite.

On our first entry which was in August 2013 we won the Second Natures top designer for real kitchen of the month award. This is such a great achievement,  after all the work that is put into designing each individual kitchen for each client. Our first award is Eden painted kitchen, we had great pleasure in designing this kitchen as clients visited our showroom at the early building stage so we were able to move windows etc.

 

THE BRIEF

This was a new-build so the clients had the luxury of a blank canvas on which to stamp their own tastes. They had decided on a light-coloured painted kitchen to be very soft on the eye but still make an impact. They were very sure of what they wanted, and had even created their own moodboard. As a hard-worked kitchen a good mix of storage solutions were included and a medium sized island offers useful worktop space, a sink for food prep as well as handy seating.
